Happy with the way the forks have turned out so far I started on the mudguards.
The rear one was first to be attacked.
After wire brushing down a couple of plates were cut to fill the holes.
Filler was then applied and shaped and a coat of primer blown on.
Not to bad and definitely getting there.
This led me on to spray a coat of paintand a bit of lacquer, this is how the forks now look.
I also attacked the frame then several other bits the same way.
That led me to a question, have I got it all? A morning spent fiddling was followed by a
'what goes where' session. The replacement tank still needs attention and painting,
As do the rear mudguard and swinging arm, but...
I know, the wheels still need doing, that's what these are for.
